Baldwin County Public Transit Coalition Begins
New Year
Baldwin County Public Transit Coalition announces the 2006/2007 new Board of Directors.
Baldwin County Public Transit Coalition has also received two grants to help educate the public and businesses on the positives of public transportation. BCPTC this year is working with the South Baldwin area and the Eastern Shore area to complete area transportation studies. What will Baldwin County’s transit system look like in ten years? Everyone has their ideas, the goal is to make sure the end user will utilize whatever is put in place. And the end user is you. Come join us and get involved. The Baldwin County Public Transit Coalition (BCPTC) is a non-profit grassroots advocacy group that promotes development of mass transit capabilities. It works in cooperation with the County Commission, the municipalities, businesses, health care and social service agencies, transportation providers, and the general public to raise awareness of mass transit as a means of stimulating economic growth and improving quality of life for those in Baldwin County
If you are interested in joining, just drop by your local chamber of commerce and up and application. For more information go to www.baldwinPTC.com. |
